a coherent overall package with owners who are passionate about hospitality. we have visited the restaurant at various locations and we have always had a pleasant stay with extraordinary (upper) eating and drinking. admittedly, not always our cheapest restaurant visited in baths, but the...skillful, competent and friendly service, the variety and seasonality in the menu, and the very high quality of food as well as the processed ingredients are worth more than. not least the remarkable view about bathing will be for prices for more price-sensitive guests. because of the love to all these small details throughout the entire customer journey, we always feel very good about the ettisberger.
The restaurant is located in Hertenstein, in between Nussbaumen and Ennetbaden. The view is great. We had a table outside as the wether was really nice. The food is tasty and the service was the best so far I have experienced in the swiss restaurants....We paid 190 CHF for two starters, main dish, ware and some prosecco). If you think that you will be done in 1-1,5 hours, you are wrong. It took us 3 hours, but we were not upset. In between the dishes we had a lovely conversation with the waiter, the owner came and presented the food, and we were also served good cheese. I will, for sure, go there again. Enjoy
our friends from Germany (duisburg and bremen,) my wife and daughter and I were on Friday evening in this beautiful restaurant. it was completely booked, but we have a nice table on the side. there is a great view of the baths. for appetizer summer salad, tatar. and grilled vegetables. maincourse tatar, entrecotes and the actual meatdish. we would have cooked that meat a little more, but it smells very nice. we had different ice, one had a cheese dish (is not on the map) which was very good. I can't remember the weeping, they were from Italian origin and also very good.
In a perfect location this place is a Swiss excellence. Refined menu choices and high quality food are the magic recipe of this restaurant. You can literally taste the family tradition and the love they put in what they do. Perfect service and presentation of...the dishes. An amazing wine card completes the picture. Don't miss it.
