We visited this restaurant with a group of colleagues. It is a quaint restaurant decorated with Nepalese flags and has portrates of Nepalese people lining the wall. The staff were Nepali, were friendly and welcoming just like the people of Nepal. It is a BYO restaurant with a corkage charge. There is a banquet menu for $35 and you can also order all la carte. We went a la carte on this occasion. We shared the momo's(Nepalese dumplings) The delicious samosa chat which comes as a salad with yogurt, tomato, spanish onion, crisp noodles and a home made tamarind sauce. We aslo had the succulent spiced chicken wings crisp batter as our starters. Upon recommendations from the group we ordered...rea...

a non-describing restaurant that greets them with a huge polished gold buddha at the entrance, the skyalayan char grill serves a sortiment of Nepalese cuisine that wateres down and especially for conservative taste buds that I ordered the spicy chilihu and for extra intensity, their famous momo and a mango leti demand. first: the mango leti was poured out of the typical huge bottle and tasted more like a sugar-pound than all acidic and probiotic. second, the momo was wrapped decently, but the thick of the Momo skin overwhelmed, which always had hearty fillings it and the chili-sour-mayo (I couldn't have the sosse) was a completely wrong fit. The butter chicken and keema lamb at this restaurant are the best I've ever had! I actually took leftovers home for the first time in years. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new, but not too adventurous. The cuisine is very similar to Indian cuisine, but there is a noticeable difference in the taste of the curry, which is slightly sweeter. Personally, I prefer the curry here by a mile. Just be aware of the opening and closing times, which can be confusing if you are not familiar with this part of town. They close at 3pm after lunch and reopen at 5:30pm for dinner. So make sure to plan your visit accordingly.
The staff were friendly and we ordered the lamb shanks as it was written on their menu as a specialty and they did taste very nice. We also ordered the lab skewers which had a lot of flavor to the meat. They are simple style meals, nothing fancy but has some good flavor. However I wouldn't come back here in a hurry as the atmosphere is a bit lackluster compared to other places along Glebe point road. Book a table now
I cannot recommend this restaurant. It closes around 10, not the advertised 11, and the food is overpriced and not very tasty, even for an early arrival at 10. There are not many options in Glebe that are open late on a Saturday night, so it is best to drive to another place.
Really delicious food and not too heavy. Highly recommend the momos and the grilled lamb options Lovely staff and the upstairs room has carpet for those who are sick of v noisy dining rooms in Sydney Great place to go with friends in the inner west.
The restaurant was truly amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and the dishes were incredibly delicious. We enjoyed a great dining experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant.
best momos in sydney. try for good service, beautiful music and beautiful staff. the flavors used are authentic and have not hit their booze! try the roti and dal if they want to keep it easy. Book a table now

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
