This restaurant is a charming and peaceful spot with delicious food. The Nepalese entree was outstanding (and quite large). It would be difficult for one person to finish it alone, and even for two people it might be a challenge. The appetizers, especially the Nepalese dumplings, were tasty. It appeared that they were short-staffed as the service was just okay and the waiter seemed overwhelmed. Some of the other guests were not very understanding, which took away from the overall experience. The bar was closed, possibly due to the staffing issue, but they did offer beer and wine.
My husband and I dine reasonably often and enjoyably at Himalayan Heritage. This time, we were rather disappointed during a weekend dinner. We both ordered the thali with meat. Our request for lamb rogan gohst in place of goat rogan gosht was cheerfully met. The lamb was superb but the other items in the thali sampler (vegetables) were not tasty, except for the lentins.
The food was decent, but not exceptional (though the naan was good). The server seemed disinterested, evident from the way he abruptly placed the menus on the table as he showed us to our seats. Despite a well-stocked bar, they were only serving beer and wine, which was disappointing.
The service at this restaurant was excellent. There were many options available on the menu, including a section featuring the chef's recommended dishes. The staff were very attentive, and my food arrived hot, just the way I prefer it.

Very similar to northern Indian flavor, the menu offers a large variety from all meat variety tandoor to vegetarian Momo dumplings. Everyone can enjoy and the service is good , looks family run.
Love the restaurant but don’t appreciate the folks who yell every word. Ruined our experience but the food is amazing. The staff are kind and overwhelmingly accommodating.
Great selection of food, excellent food (and large portions of it), very reasonable prices, excellent service, pleasant, quiet atmosphere. A real find!
I always am on the look out for a good Indian restaurant and happened upon this. The Butter Chicken was amazing!
