I have been ordering hinks for years and this year I have never been more disappointed, I had my husband go in person to order the meal because Oct 1st they did not answer the phone& left it on busy all day , and upon pick up on this Wednesday,it was so disorganized, they went to the back to make the pans of sides I ordered with my dinner as I stood waiting ,I never got gravy w my meal and a 13pound turkey w 3sides was $250 not counting the 40 we payed at time of order ,I don't mind paying for quality food but the stuffing had no taste, the pieces of bread in the stuffing were huge not even cut up ,literally big chunks of bread ,big enough to make a sandwich on ,the macaroni and cheese water...
Our home is under construction, and we temporarily have no kitchen. We have enjoyed Hinck's Thanksgiving Turkeys for many years and decided to purchase a turkey and all of the fixins to eat this week. The staff went out their way to make sure the order was complete. As always, the turkey was tasty, fresh, well cooked (only had to warm it to serve), the gravy was outstanding, and the cornbread stuffing was delicious. We can't thank you enough for the quality, care and pride you take in making Hinck's special.
Disappointed in food. I use to live the turkey salad, but they changed recipe. They now put onion instead of celery. It was so overpowering, we had to toss it. Turkey was very overcooked and very dry. Could be time of day and it was a Sunday, but they didn't have much no turkey thighs, cooked or raw/frozen. Sugar is being added to many items when it doesn't need to be. I am hopeful that the turkeys are just as fresh as they use to be

Love the Thanksgiving Day sandwich they have excellent potato salad too. Disappointed they are charging the extra 3% for using a credit card which will keep me from placing any big orders that's for sure! I will only get small cash orders if/ when I go there in the future.
Have been a Hincks customer for over 35 years, going to their different (now closed) locations depending on where we lived. Glad the original spot remains. Turkey is always delicious and tender. Great coleslaw!
I have driven past this restaurant for years, and my wife always told me I should give it a try. Today, I finally decided to stop by on my way to the bank in Wall. And I'm glad I did.
Hincks is the best...for a dinner, a sandwich. or catering. The food is perfection, the staff friendly, and the eat-in section is cozy, like someone's home.

Great home style food. There are a number of pies a)so, I recommend the Strawberry Rhubarb pie so delicious
