Ho Wah Chinese - Table reservation

I've been going to this place for about 30 years, however the owner that was there 25-30 years ago is no longer there. The front of the business is okay but can use an update, the cook's are no longer the same as well as the child labor laws are not in place. My husband and I once enjoyed the food, and the beef lomein was his favorite and my was the shrimp fried rice both of these dishes is not being prepared to the standards that they have been in the past. I don't prefer to order anything more from this place it's awful and I don't see any future in supporting a business on this level..... If I could give this restaurant less than one star I would! The service is HORRIBLE. I honestly don't understand how they are still in business. I placed a to-go order, and was given the wrong food. Ok, no problem, I understand that can sometimes happen, especially when you have a CHILD taking orders. But what I don't understand is how the owner was so dismissive and rude about the situation. No apology, no compensation for having to go all the way back for the food I actually ordered. Instead of talking the CHILD they had working there, I wanted to talk to the owner. I think the owners have changed but the food is good. Always friendly. The establishment needs a makeover.
