Went here for dinner, being the first hogs breath that ever opened and what a horrible experience it was.Where do I start. Outdated. No air conditioning so was absolutely disgusting in there with the humidity. No beers on tap. Soft drink was flat. Ran out of Grant Burge wine. We're slowly running out of ice. Ran out of eye fillet steaks. And couldn't have any of the slow cooked 18hr steaks. And to not even be told about that until we ordered was ridiculous.Drinks took forever to come to our table after ordering them. The customer service wasn't the greatest but Chris was great his customer service was superb.Overall not the greatest hogs breath experience. Would I recommend this...no
Manager advised us Hogs had just reopened after the cyclone. I used to work at this exact hogs breath 10 years ago so had high expectations. Unfortunately they did not meet any of them. The learner waitresses struggled to get basics such as water and cutlery down pat. Steaks were sent back as weren't cooked correctly on all 3. Curly fries out, drinks didn't show up. Resurrection was shown with the offer of free dessert and a heavy compensation for poor quality. Travis the manager was more than apologetic and helpful. We have made a promise to return in a few weeks and hope to be reinstated with positivity for this restaurant.
We booked a table for a work lunch and pre-ordered our meals which I was assured would be ready on our arrival. Got there and they barely knew what table was ours. Meals came out 30mins later and that was them hurrying. There was more bun or roll than the fillings. Meal was dry and horrible. Soft drink was flat. Table was disgusting and sticky. Overall cleaniness of the resturant was gross. Only good thing was the chips
It is so good to have Hogs Airlie Beach reopened after Cyclone Debbie!It has been repaired and refreshed and it was an absolute delight dining on the balcony.New Manager, Travis, and all staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, food was great and will definitely go back soon! Highly recommended!

Although it's not the cheapest place in town to eat, the food is always really tasty and there's plenty of it. Grab a seat down the back and you will have a fabulous view overlooking the lagoon and the sea beyond.The staff were really friendly which made us feel it was worth the few extra dollars
Coke in the drinks was flat, out of prime rib. Can't do mashed potatoes as they are out also but can do baked potato. Meals came out completely wrong so we got up and left.
Not a nice experience, sticky tables, fish on daily special was taken out of the freezer and deep friedHad to return the meal.
Wasn't expecting much and got exactly what I expected. Nothing special. Average steaks but averagely priced so same-same.
