Holdi Rainford - Table reservation

This is a review based only on take away food and from over take aways, so not a one off. One of the biggest surprises to us was the variation in quality from one week to the next. An example of this is that...a Tandoori mixed grill one week was so good, my partner had it again the next week, second time it was almost covered in a slimy coating and not at all pleasant. This also happened with a lamb Rogan josh, top quality one week, a few weeks later it tasted more like a pudding (more of this later). a pleasant culinary experience. good staff who liked to talk about the menu. I ordered a butter chicken, that was definitely not a butter chicken. I have eaten in many major restaurants in the world and that was a mistake in my understanding....Very fiery, no butter or cream aromen and the color was dark brown. No matter, don't worry, I enjoyed eating because it was fresh and served with very good naan brot. the quality is at good pub level and no longer. knowing about the Indian flavor is normal and under what I experienced in Britain would go back because eating is fresh and well cooked, but not dramatize the true potential of Indian cuisine.

we have regularly ripped out from here as it was always excellent, but at our last opportunity I don't know if they have changed the chef because the red and green paprika have been cut into very large pieces and it has never been so before...a bit disappointed really even skin on twee

large personal large eating not cheap portions too small it is ridiculous travel advisers insist that I write at least signs. there's a hundred.

eating and service is five stars. large fan of restaurants. so good if not better than holdi woolton. bruce rocks. well made for them all
