Had breakfast here both days that we were in town for the Maine Lobster Festival. Each day we arrived about 9:30 am and had a minimal wait, chose to sit at the counter both days. My scrambled eggs were cooked with such finesse, ever so slightly on themoist side, just how I like it, and super fluffy. The breakfast potatoes were crisp perfectly seasoned, and let me tellyou, I was born in MA but raised in the south, so I've had and made plenty of sausage gravy, Home Kitchen had the absolute,most delicious sausage gravy I've ever had. I have been on intermittent fasting for two and a half years this was my third breakfast and SO WORTH IT!!! Pecan Cinnamon Bun French toast, so soft and delicious, the side of ham was perfect, thick, salty and the hash browns very good a few tasted like they may not have been fresh this AM but still yummy. My wife took the lobster tacos and they were perfect. Lobster cooked properly, fresh made corn Tortilla and the beans were perfectly spiced! Emily and Karen--you are the best! We ate here twice during our vacation. The restaurant was SO busy, and they were HUSTLING. Plus, they have the best attitude. They were apologetic, but stayed so positive. We ate here for dinner one night and breakfastanother day. Emily remembered us on the second trip. We were very impressed with the quick service. Our coffee never got cold,and we really appreciated their amazing service. Huevos are one of our favorites!
Absolutely delicious wait staff are kind and efficient, food was so good and large portions. Breakfast burrito huge and very delicious plus I had the MIGAS, it was so good! It had handmade corn tortilla strips scrambled with eggs, caramelized onion, roasted poblano peppers, pepperjack cheese, fresh cilantro and cilantro lime mojo. Served with sour cream house made pico with avocado. 5 stars can’t wait to go back.

Food was great. The Hostess Barb was a hoot. Our waitress had a great sense of humor and was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable. We had lunch but saw some of the breakfast platters come out for others and those looked pretty delish also. They have indoor or out door seating. And an upper deck with a pretty good view of the harbor. I would definitely eat there again.
Home Kitchen Café is one of those places where I would give six stars if I could. We came here a few times a week and were very impressed by what we experienced every visit. The menu is creative and the food is excellent. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is also pulsating at this early autumn weekend. You can't go wrong here. Very recommended!
Fantastic service with an extensive menu. We split a garden omelette, two blueberry pancakes, and a side of bacon. All delicious. Meghan was our server we ate at the counter. There?s a good looking patio with sail-like sun protection covering. Parking lot is small but we found a spot on the street. There?s a two hour limit.
Home Kitchen is a must-visit restaurant in Rockland, even though I want to tell you not to go so I don't have to wait for a seat Seriously though, it's amazing! I usually get the huevos rancheros, and my husband gets the philly cheese steak breakfast sandwich. And you HAVE to get a stickie or sinnie!

Amazing food and HUGE selection.... great gluten free options. We were told a 35 minute wait on a Sunday morning but ended up being seated in less than 10! The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The kitchen clearly got overwhelmed as we waited over 30 minutes for our meals. Will still go back!
This breakfast was incredible! The corned beef is the best in the state. The **** Mary is fantastic. The wait can be long but it is worth it.
