Have tried to visit Homeground before but been unable to get a seat, but managed to sit outside today for lunch. The festive vegan option was 'buttermilk ' biscuit with wild mushrooms, sage onion stuffing, fried sage leaves, Jerusalem artichoke puree. They had run out of the biscuit so served it with sourdough made by local bakery More Artisan at Staveley.. It was a magnificent dish, I could not fault it, it was a shame to finish it, totally scrumptious. Revisited for breakfast and had creamed baked oats with pretzel crumb and maple syrup. The most decadent porridge I 've ever eaten it was faultless. Now I know why there is always a queue and why its been so hard to get a seat. Highly recomm...
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were immediately impressed by the welcoming ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious menu. I tried the best coffee I have ever had (a oat milk latte, as I am quite picky about my coffee), enjoyed a tasty lunch, and indulged in a fabulous takeaway cake. I had the falafel burger, made with freshly roasted falafel, pickles, and spicy mayo, which was right up my alley. My partner opted for the vegan avocado toast with mushrooms and was equally impressed. We also couldn't resist taking away some of the chocolate cake and Jack fruit, both of which were delightful. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
We stumbled over the background and thought their menu looked pretty good, so in the head and became of such a magnificent ambience, beautiful staff, the best coffee I ever had (cooked oats milk latte and I am a coffee snob! delicious lunch and farewell cake. I had the falafel burger, who was so freshly roasted on my street with pimples and spicy Mayo, and my partner had veganized avo on toast with some mushrooms he was very impressed. We took away the chocolate cake and folding jacket, which were also very beautiful. Very recommended!
We visited this restaurant on a cold day and had a delicious bowl of soup with crispy ciabatta. My partner enjoyed a fantastic single-origin filtered coffee and highly recommends it! I tried their orange hot chocolate with oats and loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We visited this place in a rather cold day and enjoyed a bowl of soup with crispy Ziabatta. My partner enjoyed a good single-origin filtered coffee and very recommend it! I can show you on orange hot chocolate with Oatly. The staff was super friendly and welcoming! They also had quite a few delicious looking vegan cakes on the Theke Definitively worth diving! Been here a few times for coffee and it's always great. This time for food was stopped and blown away from him for the good. I had the baked Crème Brûlée oats with roasted peaches and it was honestly the best oat I ever had. Will be back
Delicious mushrooms with delicious Avo on beautiful sourdough bread. Just a piece of bread, but it was big, and so much Avo so a good size share in total. A great brunch/lunch option! Updated by previous rating on 2022-06-04
