So after seeing a YouTuber who lives in Honduras try this place out I said why not!! Walking in , the place looks nice and cultural. The menu seemed pretty straightforward. First I got a baleada regular. It was pretty good in price and taste wasyummy. A bit small in size for the tortilla. I had a banana soda. Which wasn’t soda ish at all. It was flat and sweet. Notsure if that’s how they should be, but wasn’t all that bad. My main dish was the pollo guisado which was advertised as thespecial of the month. The rice was good. The cabbage salad was yummy. Beans were good. The chicken however had a sauce that madeit taste like you were eating some type of seafood with a tomato sauce. Hopefully t...

Hello, Honduras Kitchen, I hope this message doesn't come across as offensive. I wanted to share my experience regarding an order I placed for chicken through Uber today, April 19, 2024, at 2:45 PM. Unfortunately, the chicken I received was raw and very tough when I tried to bite into it. The outside was hard, and there was a lot of blood on the inside, which was quite off-putting. I felt disappointed to see my food like that, especially since it cost nearly $20. I was really looking forward to enjoying your food, but this experience was a complete letdown.
We ordered plantain chips topped with ground beef and pickled onions, along with the daily special—six baleadas for $1.25 each. Everything was delicious. The plantain chips were a bit pricey, but given that we’re not in Honduras, it’s worth it. The tajaditas were also more expensive than back home, but since we’re in Cali, it’s definitely reasonable. Overall, I’m a happy Honduran who loves coming to this restaurant. My family has been coming here since it opened, and now I bring my friends as an adult. Talk about growth!
This place is top tier! One of the best restaurants in Huntington Park without a doubt. The owner Jonathan was down to earth and made sure I got every shot of them making the amazing food. The staff is very sanitary and hard working. Even though Honduran food is very laborious, they bring it out pretty soon. Make sure you try the San Pedro, sopa de modongo, and rosquillas de miel. They kept on checking on us to see if we needed anything. This is definitely a restaurantyou should check out for any occasion. Book a table now

¡¡¡OVERPRICE!!! I was curious about this popular restaurant, but it was a disappointment. definitely the portions are not according to the price. The yuca con carne was more cabbage than anything else,I also ordered 2 baleadas and when I asked aboutthe encurtido, they told me it was a separate charge. SERIOUSLY? even at the simplest restaurants they give you free encurtido, since it is part of. It's not a place I would go back to.
The restaurant offers overpriced dishes that are simply unacceptable. The place is poorly maintained, with furniture in terrible condition. The crockery used is old and shabby, something you wouldn't even find in low-budget establishments from 20 years ago. There has been no update or remodeling, and the tables and chairs are just as bad. Portions are minimal, while prices are inflated. I will never return to this place again.
Food is too expensive' and the portion is too little compared with other hondurean food placess For the 2nd. Picture I had to update the 5 stars.. I had a good experience with my order( this one was delivered from GrubHub.. I love my food!.. thank you Honduras kitchen for the improvement! Book a table now
Honduras Kitchen is fantastic, offering delicious food and outstanding service. My top picks are the enchiladas and baleadas—absolutely flavorful! It gets quite busy on weekends, and on Fridays and Saturdays after 10 pm, it turns into a dance club with a cover charge.
