Hongfa Asian Restaurant

We originally wanted to eat sushi, but we weren’t lucky in any of the restaurants we visited for a variety of reasons. So we ended up in Hongfa, which we knew was a good restaurant and it was close. Until we could eat in a...restaurant, we brought a lot of delicious Laksa home from there. Now we finally had the opportunity for a comfortable, relaxed restaurant lunch again. My partner stayed with the Seafood Laksa, but I wanted to try something different, so I ordered a combination of roast duck and fried pork. The food at this restaurant was fantastic, but I had some concerns about the service. There was a sign on the door looking for wait staff, but I felt like the problem may have been in the kitchen. I waited outside for a reasonable amount of time before moving inside, where I waited for about the same amount of time. The Soy sauce chicken, boneless and skinless, came out quickly, but I expected the Chinese Broccoli to be faster. Despite the service issues, the food quality was quite good.

What a terrible meal We ordered satay beef......what we got was totally tasteless....it wasn't even satay sauce didn't even look like it either...to this point I really don't know what was served but it was really awful The same with the other dish which was...pork and plum sauce. If they want to serve up dishes like this then they should close down Heavens know where the write ups were done because what we had was disgusting

I just tried the BBQ Pork and Wonton soup at this restaurant and it was fantastic! I highly recommend it.

Honey chicken and deep fried squid to die for. Generous portions, friendly service. Will be back!
