"It's a small, stylish restaurant with a superb view to see the sunset. The food was really good, the staff was very friendly and it's a somehow quiet place since it is not directly located within the main streets of Saint-Paul. Definitely recommendable."

As a regular visitor to St Paul and having tried a number of eateries, this had been recommended. We only could go on a Sunday and all they had on offer was a ‘Jazz Brunch’. It sounded appealing but it was all a lie. The service was everything that is embarrassing about surly French attitude that is now so old fashioned. However what was farcical was the food, in its imagination, construction , description and delivery. This restaurant’s idea of Brunch is a hugely disappointing breakfast but cooked so badly, that disgusting is something it aspired to. Undrinkable tepid , tasteless brown liquid masquerading in the hallucinatory descriptor of hot chocolate ushered in a bizarre, at best unpalat...

Please avoid the brunch, it's very poor value at 45 euros, the hot chocolate was tepid and totally insipid, this was not just our opinion, the lady on the next table agreed and piggy backed on our complaint. Avoid the oeufs brouilles, unless you are particularly fond of egg soup! Should you find yourself forced to have brunch here, by the unfortunate position of being in a fait accompli situation, then the gravalax is the way to to go, but the ham croissant is best as a stomach filler. It's not brunch as we no it in the UK, beware!

Do not be conned by the description of ‘brunch’ with ‘music’. The brunch was not what one would expect for €45. One coffee, one cold drink, one croissant, one ‘main’ and one‘dessert’. Poor. Gravadlax was ok, rampart croissant with ham was big, egg soup was disgusting and unlike anything any of us had ever eaten. Obviously our mistake in thinking that the French understand what brunch should be. It’s definitely not this. And to advertise music is wrong when it’s neither live music nor dj music. We left feeling very ripped off.

Absolutely loved the experience at Les Remparts. The spot offers an incredible view on the surroundings, especially when you sit at the wooden counter. Loved the atmosphere: it is decorated with great taste and the music is just what you need to enjoy your diner. The staff is super welcoming, careful and nice. The food tastes fabulous, from the starters to the desserts, and the drinks are always a good surprise. Highly recommend it!
