However, when I went in on Monday, things took a turn for the worse. Hazel denied ever discussing the refund with me and started arguing about needing approval from her manager. She seemed unsure if she could process the refund at all. Although she eventually gave it to me, we ended up arguing over a mere $10! Given that I was a daily customer, this experience has completely turned me off from returning. Never again.
The muffins looked promising, but they were cold—actually refrigerator cold. Prices are quite steep, and the service left much to be desired. I also noticed that the place felt a bit dirty, and the staff seemed rushed. They asked me multiple times what I wanted on my sandwich, and they messed up the orders for a few customers ahead of me. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory.
There are many bagel places in and around Glen Rock, but this is my favorite. The bagels are fantastic—with a perfect size, a soft interior, and a nice crust. They also offer a great variety of spreads. I love the everything bagel topped with veggie tuna salad, tomato, and hot peppers; it's simply amazing. The staff has always been wonderful as well.

I think they cook the eggs with WD-40! Disgusting and distracting odor came off the breakfast sandwich which I tossed out in their trash can and didn't even bother to complain. I'll never come back and do not recommend this bagel place.
Ordered an everything bagel lightly toasted and specifically put “LIGHTLY” toasted in all caps and I still received a burnt bagel. It must be sooo terribly hard to follow instructions at this establishment. Absolutely ridiculous.
I ordered a poppyseed bagel with cream cheese and it was burnt and disgusting. This is the second time I ordered from them and both times were equally subpar. Go to the Hot Bagel on River Road. They’re consistently solid.
