A group of four adults, we had dinner here on the evening of Thursday 19 June. We had not made a reservation and had just wandered out from our hotel to find somewhere to eat. Saw this place and although it was not busy we all liked the look and feel of it. Turned out to be a good choice. Food was simple but excellent, the value offered was very good and the smiley young waitress made us all very welcome. There was nice atmosphere once a few other guests had also wandered in although it was not full I imagine on a busy summer evening eating inside or out the ambiance will be enjoyable. We would all be happy to recommend this restaurant to others we cannot comment on the hotel but if it maint...
We stopped in at Bakea late one evening in the pouring rain, and stumbled across one of the best meals we've had in the area great artichocke and seranno ham, one of the best steaks I've ever had, with great wine. Pudding more regular, but more than edible! Relaxed atmosphere. Highly reccommend!
We arrived around 7.30 pm and were the only 2 people in the restaurant all night The food was OK not spectacular my black pudding was local and good The server (owner? was not interested in serving customers. It was all automatic
the meal was very mediocre we had chicken curry which I can well make better myself- very poor for a french restaurant
