We had dinner at Feldwebel early October and had a nice time. The staff is welcoming and friendly (sometimes rare in Austria...), the dishes are both traditional and/or more modern, with a creative approach, and the wine selection features some good picks from different regions of the country. Great atmosphere.
Local cuisine and all the souces are made using maizena (corn starch). They are perfectly ok to change gluten containing side dishes to gluten free options (e.g. you can replace spätzle with potatoes). One star less as the service varies, but the kitchen knows about what contains gluten.
average. they serve traditional eating and the inner is also traditional. the service was good, eating was simply ok, nothing special. too expensive for what they are compared with other restaurants nearby. the recommended bread basket was disappointing.
This was a last minute choice, but had gorgeous steaks and ribs. Located right in the middle of the town, the old style Austrian restaurant is quaint and the service was excellent
