General: Mother's Day and Hunger are still alive. We had a table reserved for 3 people at the Alte Post restaurant. The restaurant is located in the old post office of Gladbeck therefore also the name of the restaurant. I had dinner here recently when I stayed at the hotel. The restaurant is huge, but divided into several areas that are still very large. I remember when it was the post office and I came here as a young child to buy stamps or letters to Stift Freunde Übersee Nostalgie.. It is one of the most popular restaurants and very busy in the evenings. The menu is very long and usually aimed at traditional German appetites. There's hardly anything for vegetarians. The hotel itself is very small - there are few rooms on the top floor. The restaurant is amazing. The owner is very friendly, the staff keeps everything in mind, the food is delicious and always served at a high level.
