I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. If you order through the TooGoodToGo app, be prepared to encounter rude employees who seem to think you are asking for free food. They may not trust you even if you have already paid for and arranged to pick up your order on the app. The staff does not seem happy to be there and the atmosphere is unwelcoming. In addition, the portions are small and the food quality is lacking. The cornbread was dry and had egg shells, and the pulled pork did not taste right. The sauce was unpleasant. I wish I could give more stars. This restaurant is a must-visit if you're in the Bronx. It never disappoints, providing a top-notch experience every time I dine there. I usually order delivery when I'm working in the Bruckner area, but I recently had the opportunity to dine in and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and organized it was. The staff is excellent, attentive, and efficient in getting orders out. They clearly hire quality employees who uphold high standards. Keep up the great work!
To my black folks… if you’re adventurous, go here. See how the bartender treats you, and the staff…Other than that, the food is pretty tasty if you can get it fresh. Otherwise it’s noticeably old. Portions are diet size, annoying. There are way better places than this. The space itself is nice and has outdoor seating, indoor AC. But I don’t visit Oliver Twist style restaurants too often. The staff move in there like they are waiting for something to go wrong… egg shells.

The atmosphere was very cozy. The people working that day was amazing. First trip to this BBQ joint and not the last. The food was very tasty, seasoned just right, the BBQ sauce was vinegar base but I didn't mind it. I prefer ketchup base. The aroma is intoxicating BBQ heaven.
Food can be pricey, $41 for their beef rib is kinda steep. Pork bellies are great, and the brisket is okay. Some parts were dry. Parts of the restaurant are dirty, and there's no excuse for that.
The owner and the food at this restaurant are exceptional. I have never been disappointed with the food, it is always perfect. I highly recommend trying the brisket dish.

The wings weren't as tender as expected since it was smoke and fried. And they didn't put enough sauce. The brisket and rib tips were great, I would order again
The meats are good. The sides were pretty bad and the portions are small for the price.
