I am really disappointed with the last visit I had to this establishment. Yesterday I was scammed in the most vile way. I ordered a meal and had some beers Stella Artois). I was in the bar section, at the bar. To my surprise confident that this establishment would take care of the customer I was charged excessively for supposed drinks that I never ordered or were consumed. I invited two of the employees: bartender and waitress the names can be seen on the receipts) for a couple of drinks. I would estimate that Lisbeth had about 4 drinks and Hilda had two or three beers. It should be noted that the cashier on duty is Lisbeth's sister. This restaurant burned down a few years ago, and we used to order food for large gatherings, especially the Jalea. Since we live nearby, we decided to revisit and see how the food is now. Unfortunately, most of the à la carte dishes were lacking in flavor. The Jalea tasted just fried, with no seasoning. My daughter ordered the green spaghetti, and we ended up leaving the entire plate untouched. Even my mom commented that it wasn't good. The daily specials seem to be what keep the regulars coming back. The service was attentive, but the food did not meet expectations. One other thing to note: they have a full bar, but they don’t serve Pisco Sour, which is surprising for a Peruvian restaurant.
I ordered lomo saltado through Grubhub. When I arrived and stood by the back door, a female server noticed me but didn't ask if I needed anything. Instead, she went back to chat with her coworkers. I had to ask a guy in the kitchen if someone was available to help me. Eventually, the same server came out from a back room and handed me my food. The food was tasty, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.
Yesterday, I went out to eat with my sister and some cousins, and the ceviche was absolutely delicious. I was a bit skeptical at first, as I had a bad experience years ago when the food was terrible. However, it has transformed into one of my favorite restaurants now. I highly recommend it!

The food offers authentic Peruvian cuisine, and I've been a patron for a long time. However, the service is subpar by any standard. I can no longer tolerate it. The owner comes and goes, but it seems he has little regard for customer service.
The menu is terrible, they can't cook good Peruvian food, if it's easy to do so. Improve your seasoning or change restaurants
Excellent staff and the food simply delicious. For lovers of traditional Peruvian food, I invite you to delight your palate.
