Hunan Express - Table reservation

The food portions are enormous, especially for the price—one order can easily satisfy two hungry people or provide leftovers for the next day. As for customer service, while I haven’t had recent interactions, I had a memorable experience a few years ago. One late night, I decided to place an order just 10 minutes before closing. They were happy to take my order, and when I arrived about 12 minutes later (traffic was a nightmare!), my meal was freshly packed and waiting for me. My apologies for the delay were met with a genuine smile, which I really appreciated. We thought the food at Hunan Express was pretty good overall. Usually my yardstick for a Chinese restaurant is their hot and sour soup, but here it was quite average. Not bad, but nothing special. Spring rolls were good, probably a little better than most. But the Morengo Delight was fantastic; it is one of my favorite dishes, and their version was really good.

In the three years I've been ordering from them, I've never had any issues with the food or service. Their portions are quite generous—I can easily share a lunch with someone! I can't recall ever encountering a problem with the food; it has consistently met my expectations. I'm really happy they're still open and nearby.

The sweet sour chicken was delicious, as was the shrimp fried rice. The fried dumplings were good but not the best I apos;ve had. I loved the egg rolls but my husband said the spring rolls were a little greasy. Overall we were happy and will order again.

The food is always hot and delicious! 2. Sweet Sour Chicken and 13. Orange Chicken lunch specials were very good! Great food at a great price.
