Hunan Lion has been my favorite Chinese restaurant since I was in my twenties—no contest. Now at 40, I’ve never had a bad meal here. I’ve tried several local places nearby, and while they were decent, this is my go-to spot. It’s my family’s favorite as well. Having moved to Georgia, I haven’t found any Chinese food that compares to Hunan Lion. Susan and the entire staff are wonderful—she even knows my order over the phone and is familiar with my wife, kids, and family. Every time I’m back home in Maryland, I make it a point to visit. I love Hunan Lion!
This is my Favorite Chinese food place since I was in my 20's. Hands down. I'm 40 now. I have not had a bad dish here. I tried a few in the area locally and they were ok, but this is my spot. This is my family's spot too I moved to GA and can not find anyChinese close to Hunan Lion. Susan and the staff are amazing. She knows my order when I call. She knows my wife, kids, andfamily. The food at Hunan Lion used to be great, but my recent order was a letdown. I got a family meal, and the taste was off—everything was too salty, the chicken was overcooked and tough, and the broccoli was cold, seeming like it had just been taken straight from the freezer. On top of that, customers aren’t allowed inside the restaurant, so make sure to bring cash since the credit card machine isn’t readily available.
Susan at Hunan Lion is simply outstanding! She’s friendly, warm, and truly cares about her customers. I love their veggie spring rolls, and I really appreciate that they’re willing to customize chicken dishes to be vegan for me. My husband can’t get enough of their cashew chicken. The menu at Hunan Lion offers great options for everyone!

Ms. Susan is always incredibly kind to me. I use the food here as a benchmark for quality Chinese cuisine. After more than 10 years of coming here, I truly appreciate how quickly she recognizes my voice and my order over the phone. This is a top-notch establishment.
Hunan Lion has been out go-to Chinese Food place for YEARS. The customer service there is absolutely outstanding. And the food? DELICIOUS! Their Cashew Chicken is my favorite and it's the best I've ever eaten. HIGHLY recommended.
