They really need to look at closing for a day to carry out a complete deep clean. I’ve always given this place another go. It’s generally hit and miss as a whole but my god-the state of the dining room here is becoming a major health and hygiene concern. Glass panes are always filthy, scores of dead flies around the windows, tables not wiped ever. I can’t eat in there anymore. I suggest take away if ordering from this store because you will be put off your food fairly quickly if dining in.
I had a very slow experience at this location in Queensland. After waiting 10 minutes at the drive-thru, my food turned out to be below average. When I arrived at the first window, there was no one there, so I assumed I needed to go to the second window. However, I found out that they didn't accept Eftpos at the second window, so I had to go back to the first one to pay with my phone. Overall, this experience was not what I would expect from Hungry Jack's.
The staff was unorganized and rude. The area around the coffee machine was accessible to customers, who seemed to be idle (as shown in photos). Cleanliness was lacking. When I informed the duty manager about the situation, they just acknowledged it without taking action and quickly went back behind the counter. However, the meal was excellent.
The employees were subject, but very apologetic. Management staff ignorant. Burgers and chips very delicious. No lights in the car park or no illuminated 'Hungry Jacks' shield. Main dining area no lights on and closed 2 and half an hour before the close to save the cleaning time and an early departure. Not the best way to run a restaurant. Book a table now
10 mins to order, then I waited 20 mins for the food. When I asked them were it was, they said someone else must of taken it... I was right next to the pick area!! The items you may ask. $2 chips and some nuggets. 20 mins!!!! What a joke. Manager was not managing his team correctly (no delegation of tasks). What a hole.
Somehow they had 'run out ' of toasties, not sure how you run out of bread cheese and ham but there you go. We got one of the meals we ordered but had to substitute with another item since they 'ran out ' of toasties and only had one left. Food was alright though.
They're great for satisfying your hunger! I have to say, the burgers are even better when you have a hearty appetite. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I really wish they would bring back the unlimited Post Mix drinks, though!
They are so unorganised and rude, they forget peoples orders as simple as chips with the meal. They younger girls that work there just stand around and you wait for 10 mins before being served. It’s known as the bad hungry jacks in Mackay. Book a table now
For the ENTIERETY of the duration of a new promotion for a new Ice Cream related product, I was never able to try it because every single day of said promotion, it was out of order. How is that even remotely acceptable in 2023?
