This is a cheap sandwich shop serving industrial workers who don’t want to go next door to the Grounds but, unlike the Weighbridge Cafe nearby on Bourke Rd, it makes no attempt to rise above the basic sandwich shop quality. The roast beef, which looked good in the window, was very dry and my focaccia request was unilaterally changed to Turkish bread and I probably should have demanded a toasting because it turned out very dry and plain overall. Stick to basic sandwiches and burgers and you’ll probably have a better experience.
