I've been to Japan several times and I'm here to tell you this place is great. I stumbled in recently after a terrible experience being ignored at Brauerei Spezial, and had a lovely meal with a cosmopolitan and multilingual staff. Real crab in the California...roll!! It's right across the street from the Best Western in Bamberg which I also highly recommend and the wait staff was so delightful I returned for lunch the next day. It didn't hurt that it was Monday and just about everything else in town was closed, but still. A lovely bento box the second time. Just go
Reservation by phone was simple, a few hours of notice and a party of persons was quickly accommodated. Ample spacing between different tables of patrons. Immediate contact tracing forms to fill out. Masks social distancing strictly enforced. Food was delicious, orders came out...just as requested. No modifications to meals allowed, although the food was well plated. Restaurant was very clean all throughout, to include restrooms. Gorgeous spacing with upstairs ground level seating. We enjoyed our meal in the best sushi in bamberg. Thank you
The restaurant was buzzing with activity on a Saturday evening, and we were immediately seated as we had booked in advance. We ordered Noodles with Chicken , and a variety of Sushi which included one with Shrimp , one with crab meat and one...with chicken . The taste on each one of these was really lip smacking and finger licking. It took time for our meal to come but all that wait frustration vanished once we dug in. Recommended!
Having lived in Asia for years, I was delighted to find this brilliant Japanese place in Bamberg. The food is really authentic and you could be in Japan. It worked out at thirty euros per person with a glass of wine each, so not...cheap, but definitely worth it if you crave high quality sushi and sashimi. The tempura was light and crisp, the udon broth was perfect and the sushi was fresh and tasty. Nothing to complain about

We were staying at a hotel nearby and wrongly assumed that Ichisan was empty when we walked by definitely not the case. They have a dining room upstairs, and a terracebalcony outdoors. The crowd was lively, and our dinners were very goodmixed sushi plus...miso soup and vegetable tempura that were delicious. Service was very good and our waitress very friendly. Definitely to be recommended
We came here with a large group of students from Sprachinstitut Treffpunkt for a Japanese meal. The sushi menu was large and the nonsushi options were varied. Everyone had something different and all were pleased. However it is not an inexpensive restaurant
We come here every time we visit Bamberg. Their Gyoza is to die for and the service always super nice, friendly and helpful. They have a very broad sushi choice and all are very well prepared and served
If you are come from east Asia and tired with German restaurant, try ichisam, you won’t regret I give of since I feel difficulties to get fit with traditional German food

Its been a while since i had proper japanese sushi and sashimi. It is not cheap but worth it. I have the Tokyo sushi and sashimi set which was just nice for me
