The short rib was fantastic, and both of my dining companions enjoyed their meals as well. Unfortunately, they ran out of one of the two desserts we ordered. However, they kindly offered us the other two desserts on the menu at no charge due to the wait, which we really appreciated. My only issue was that when we arrived and were seated, we were placed at a high-top table near the outdoor area, right next to the door, which caused a chilly draft every time it opened. We requested to be moved, and they accommodated us, but it seems odd to me that after making a reservation days in advance, we ended up at such an undesirable table. I didn't think I would need to specify, but now I know to ask...
Pamela our waitress was excellent! Her timing was spot on. She offered a confirmation on a desert miscue from the kitchen and bus boy who delivered it to our table. Our booth in the far corner, as far from the din of the bar area, kept us from having to shout our conversation among the three of us. This spot was offered by a sharp hostess. The Friday before Christmas had the place packed. One diner had fish chips which he finished. Another diner had the Shebeen Shepherds Pie, a big hit. And this diner's Chicken Millenium tasted great. First time for Mushroom Risotto for me. Yum!
We were a group of eight, including four kids, and our table was placed very close to another large party. It was difficult for us to get in and out of our seats, which made it challenging to interact with our group and assist the kids with their meals. The tight seating also made it hard for the server and food runners to deliver the dishes without us having to pass plates around, which wasn't a big deal, but it wasn't the most convenient setup. We would have appreciated more frequent check-ins from the server for drink refills. On the positive side, the food was excellent.
It is certainly not The Town House of old. For those who are looking for a quiet to modertate noise level The Town House is very loud. Both dining areas have bars where large number of a younger crowd gathered . The recorded music was geared toward them and definitely too loud and was pounding during the entire visit. This was a visit for dinner not sure what lunch would be like.

It was incredibly crowded on Saturday night, which resulted in slow service, but we didn’t mind too much. My main issue was that we were seated at a high-top table with stools on one side and a wall bench on the other. The stools were fine, but the bench was really uncomfortable, so I had my child sit on it instead.
Incredibly loud. Sorry to see the place already in disrepair. Spray foam protruding from the fireplace and around booths. Service was good tonight but the food was mediocre. There are so many more enjoyable spots in Media where one can actually hear a person two feet away.
Service was great. Half of the orders came out incorrect but they took so long we just gave up and ate it anyway. It's the holidays so I get that it's busy but for what we paid for the meal, it should be good and correct. Our server was the highlight!
Two Prime Rib special was inedible. Not sure it was really Prime Rib cut of beef. There were grill sear marks on the Prime Rib. This should never be. Server could not tell us which order was medium and which was medium rare.

Casual dinner and drinks with a friend. We both liked our drinks (she had the specialty margarita while I had the Old Fashioned) and our burgers were delicious. Our server was so attentive and helpful and fun to chat.
The food was very good but the potions were small. I recommend getting an appetizer. The atmosphere was nice but very noisy. Our servicer was wonderful. Very sweet and informative.
