This restaurant shows a lack of consideration for guests with allergies. We deliberately avoided choosing any cheese in our order because my son has a severe milk allergy, yet we were still served a sandwich that contained cheese. I only realized this after my son had already taken a few bites, and now I'm extremely concerned about his health. If anything happens to him, I will pursue legal action against this establishment.
This restaurant shows no regard for people with allergies. We specifically chose the "no cheese" option because my son has a severe dairy allergy, but the sandwich we received still had cheese. I only noticed after he had eaten part of it, and now I’m very concerned about his health. I will never order from here again and will take legal action if anything happens to my son.
My favorite sandwich is the Floribuna, a Burlingame exclusive! Orders always take a bit longer than I expect, but I'm always super happy to have freshly made flavor upon first bite. I might ask for half dirty sauce on my sandwich next time though, since it can be pretty garlicky and salty.
The sandwiches at Ike's Love Sandwiches are excellent, especially their Dutch crunch bread. However, my last two DoorDash orders took far too long to arrive, and both times my order was wrong. Due to these issues, I’ll be avoiding ordering from them through DoorDash moving forward. Book a table now
The sandwiches are tasty, but the restaurant is severely understaffed. Service is extremely slow, and the staff isn't very communicative. I would recommend avoiding this place unless you’re prepared to spend over 30 minutes waiting, even if you’ve placed a pre-order.
I’ve loved every sandwich I've tried at Ike’s Love Sandwiches. I especially recommend the Hollywood's SF Cheesesteak, along with the Jon Lum, Dan Marino, and Adam Richman sandwiches. The Leninade soda was excellent, and their variety of chips is also impressive.
Maya Angelou is an entirely vegan restaurant that offers fresh, warm, and delicious dishes. It truly satisfied my cravings! The staff was friendly and quick to help.
