This restaurant shows a complete disregard for people with allergies! We specifically chose the 'no cheese' option when placing our order because my son has a severe dairy allergy. However, we received a sandwich with cheese. I only noticed this after my son had already eaten some of it, and now I'm extremely concerned about his condition! I will never order from this place again. If anything happens to my son, I will pursue legal action against them.
This restaurant offers an amazing selection of delicious sandwiches! I really enjoy experimenting with their different options and I've never been let down by the flavor or the price. While it does take a bit of time for them to prepare the sandwiches, believe me, it's well worth the wait. The pricing is great considering the quality you receive, and my favorite sandwich is the Floribunda on French bread. Enjoy your meal!
When ordering in person or through their website, it's important to specify the standard toppings that usually come with the sandwich. Unfortunately, I only received bread and meat, missing out on the lettuce and tomato that typically accompany it when ordering via their app or online. I was taken aback that I was still charged $14 for just the bread and meat without the usual toppings.
If you don't use the app to place your order, don't bother coming here during lunchtime. I waited 50 minutes for a bread and cheese sandwich for my 5-year-old. They should turn off the app occasionally and allow walk-ins. What happened to quality sandwiches? It feels like they're just churning them out like Subway now. Bring back the old Ikes and let people wait in line for a good meal! Book a table now
My favorite sandwich is the Floribuna, a Burlingame exclusive! Orders always take a bit longer than I expect, but I'm always super happy to have freshly made flavor upon first bite. I might ask for half dirty sauce on my sandwich next time though, since it can be pretty garlicky and salty.
I absolutely love the Bruce Wayne sandwich! It was loaded with flavorful sauces, making it so delicious. I'm a huge fan of Ike's sandwiches in general; they are always moist and never dry. The 49er sandwich had a nice kick to it, which I guess is how it's intended to be.
The sandwiches are fantastic; I always get them from here. However, they don't label the sandwiches, and despite asking for mine without BBQ sauce, they still added it. As a vegan, it's challenging to distinguish mine from the others that contain non-vegan ingredients.
It's been some time since my last visit, but the cashier was incredibly helpful and made some fantastic recommendations. The sandwiches were just as delicious as I remembered. Book a table now
