Having dined here several times as a couple, I had found it okay, but they clearly struggle to manage larger groups of ten. The customer service was appalling, and the handicap accessibility was nearly nonexistent. I refuse to settle for bad service, especially considering that’s what we pay for in a restaurant. Frankly, I don’t care who your brother is unless he’s a highly qualified chef, which the owner here clearly isn’t.
Save your money and choose a place in Piermont, where you will find properly managed restaurants with diverse menus and attentive management.

Twice, recently, I dined at I 'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: Fabulous dinner was scrumptious Phenomenal restaurant and staff Tastiest sauce in the world delicious hot bread out of the oven. An Exceptional dining experience. Amazing homemade tiramisu wonderful desserts Best meal ever better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can 't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. My husband's birthday dinner immediately got off on the wrong foot when the hostess couldn't find our reservation (which was confirmed by email on 12/19th) and insisted that WE had canceled via text. This was not our first dining experience with IL Fresco, or our first experience with your inhospitable hostesses; but it may be our last. Which is ashame, considering your restaurant's otherwise fine reputation. First impressions are lasting impressions!
Bland and underwhelming food. Unusual appetizers that look and taste like frozen items you’d see in the Costco frozen foods sections. Servers are inattentive and don’t seem to care about the guest experience. Would not recommend.What type of REAL Italian restaurant brings out a plate of grated Parmesan from a bottle and doesn’t grate it fresh table side? Parking: Small parking lot .

My favorite restaurant in the area. Great food, always good. Great service. Wonderful atmosphere. Only down side is the Gelato (vanilla is fine). Gelato overall is not good. Very grainy. Weird taste. But everything else is fantastic!!! Parking: Park in the hotel lot across the street as on site parking is very tight and limited
I visited the restaurant with a group of four, and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The rustic ambiance added to the charm of the place, making it a delightful setting.
Great food in a beautiful old farmhouse huge portions.Ok we were back again with a party of 8 everyone happy with food. Place is incredibly consistent. Highly recommend.
