Imperial Diner in Freeport is the kind of place I usually don’t review because I don’t want too many people to find out how good it is. I don’t want it to become so popular that we would have a long wait to get in. It is my favorite diner. The service is always good, the food is always yummy and made the way you request it. It is clean and everyone who works there is friendly and quick to accommodate your requests.
We sat on the Patio traffic was heavy so the noise level as well, bt not unbearable. A quick bite, we had the Santa Fe wrap and a salad with grilled chicken. Must say that the wrap is packed and excellent. Sandy had the salad which was huge, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The Imperial Diner is our go to place for comfort food, a great meal, meet with kids and grand kids and/or good friends.
The food was decent, but lacking in flavor. The service was excellent as usual and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The food arrived in a timely manner, but needed additional seasoning with salt and pepper. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, a good place for a sit-down breakfast meal.
I recently had dinner at this restaurant and was very impressed. The price per person was between $20-30, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service.
