Upon entering the restaurant to pick up a to go order, the bar was pretty messy. Many people in the restaurant became frustrated with the service while we waited for our food. We sat for over an hour to get our to go but being industry people as well we tried to be understanding. One hour and 20 minutes after we phoned in our order we thought we should ask. We were given our food after asking and we're told it had just cone up but it wasn't warm when we got it home 5 min down the road so that wasn't true. We witnessed multiple customers become upset with the service. I think the food would have been good and the staff have good intentions but this place needs management in my opinion. Good l...
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese from the regular menu and the chicken cordon bleu fettuccine from the nightly specials, both of which were outstanding. The soup of the day, lobster bisque, was also excellent and truly authentic. Our meals were served quickly, hot, and beautifully presented. The service was exceptionally friendly and very attentive. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was casual, yet the food was upscale. There's a large bar as well. Great job overall! Food: 5
I had a fantastic fish fry on a Friday night! The haddock was beautifully white and incredibly flaky, fried to perfection in a house-made beer batter. The homemade tartar sauce was simply delightful! We also ordered some fried cheese curds, which were delicious and came with both marinara and sweet chili sauce. Who knew sweet chili sauce would be so tasty with fried cheese? I certainly didn't, but now I'm a fan! The staff was friendly, and it was a great value overall!
If you're looking for GOOD food in this area, this is the place to be. And if they happen to be serving the smoked prime rib when you're there, you'd be remiss not to get it. One of the best smoked prime ribs any of the people I was with have ever had. This place really knows their food, prepare to tuck in and eat until you can't move.
