There were two of us waiting for our orders, and we had to try to get someone’s attention just to pay and leave. I’m not sure why I keep coming back. Once, I received the wrong order, which was disappointing. Although I really love their sandwiches, it feels like the staff knows they have a good product and doesn’t prioritize customer service.
I’ve been to their Mission Hills location, and it’s a completely different experience—5 stars there! This location really needs to step up its game and get back to focusing on customer service.
What an excellent sandwich. Not knowing what to expect or try, I went with chicken salad on a soft bun. I wanted the hard bun, but because I was going to eat it while driving (yes, I said that. It 's my job), I didn 't want the crust to 'explode ' into a million crumbs all over me. The sandwich was all I could ask for, and very little cleanup in my lap. I will definitely go back, and may venture into the crustier bread.
Stopped in to grab some Imported meats for New Years Eve and wasn't disappointed. The staff was very helpful and the assorted meats that were suggested were perfect choices for my charcuterie platter.
My favorite place in the SCV to get bread and sandwiches. Staff is always very friendly and quick, and bread is always fresh and amazing. I'm never dissapointed with anything I try here! :

Delicious doesn't even begin to describe it. Their sandwiches put Jersey Mike's to shame. Macaroni salad, artichokes, lasagna, chicken cacciatore...fresh, flavorful, excellent!
The bread is amazing here, everything tastes fresh and hits the spot. Hard to find a great Italian deli in the area, this one fits the bill
