I've been coming to this place for about 44 years and a repeat customer i go at least twice a week just recently they have been skimping or their servings the large fries are the same size as the small fries but cost about 2.50 more when I seen that the fries were the same size I asked the owner to fix it,so he put his hands all over the fries and threw them back in the fry tray..very dirty, at that point I just asked for a refund and the lady the owners wife handles the money and register and then touches the food without washing her hands and is super rude when you ask her for extra ketchup,napkins or whatever. Restrooms are also disgusting I'm very disappointed with that place lately I've...
1. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very poor.
2. The staff pretended not to understand my English while I was ordering.
3. I paid but did not receive a receipt.
4. The burger I received was cold, as shown below.
5. The packaging used in the store was very worn and did not meet hygiene standards.
6. I opted for takeout, yet I was still required to leave a tip. Despite tipping, I still experienced discrimination.
7. I will never return to this restaurant. If you are not a racist, I would advise you to steer clear of this place.
This place has roaches as I was sitting eating a roach crawled from under the table too up on the table. I used to support this place but not anymore, besides the roaches; the husband and wife team; the wife has an attitude after she under cooked my fries and I specifically asked her not to because she did it before, she got an attitude and start talking to her husband in their language and refused to provide me with freshly well cooked fries. Never again as I cannot tolerate knowing that a roach might be in my food.
This is one of those local gem mom and pop restaurants that everyone loves. Great sandwiches, great onion rings and good prices. The restaurant itself it a little dated and the owners say very little, but the food speaks for itself. I've been coming here since I was a kid and will continue coming until I no longer can. Parking: Free parking but limited parking spaces.

I went here at least once a week for lunch. I am moving away and will miss this place. Nice place to sit and have lunch, kind service and prices are fair. Definitely try the teriyaki steak chicken subs. I regularly got their cheese burger combos as well.
Stopped by this hidden gem in El Monte earlier today. You will not be disappointed! I had the pastrami burger combo and the six inch pastrami combo for my daughter. Both were great and I highly recommend this spot!! I'll be returning soon!
If your from the neighborhood and you've had Tito's subs, come here. This place will humble Tito's real quick. The quality of the food and the price is great. The BLT IS DELICIOUS! Lol and they're fries are always fresh!
This is some of the best and most affordable food you can find not only in El Monte but throughout Los Angeles County.
