Jade Cottage - Table reservation

A group of fifteen of us went for a walk at Greenham Common before heading to Thatcham for dinner. We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the restaurant, where we had pre-booked a table and decided to order from the set menus. We were impressed by the variety of starters that were served, followed by delicious duck pancakes and a selection of tasty main courses. The food was of excellent quality and served in generous portions. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, and there was a good amount of time between each course. I recently visited this restaurant for the first time to grab a quick takeaway and I was extremely pleased. I have dined in at this restaurant before, but I had never thought of getting a takeaway. The food was very fresh, hot, and delicious. The meal was for dinner and the price per person was between £1 and £10. I would rate the food and service both a 5 out of 5.

Fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was of high quality for takeout, and the staff were exceptionally friendly (especially considering they were in the midst of a major renovation). I will definitely be returning!

5 star restaurant. Takeaway has been really good and consistent during the pandemic. A large part of the menu is gluten free, just ask.
