It was a Friday night, and we felt like having an adventure. Since the pictures of schnitzels looked so good on Zomato, I called to make a reservayion for teo. We were able to get a table for 7:30 and we were warned on thr phone that they will have live music. It appears that this restaurant had an early crowd that night. When we arrived, the music was going strong, several families with kids were singing along and clapping there hands to the music. We had a table at the back. It felt like we were transported to a small village in Bavaria because we can see that many customers were enjoying themselves, and swaying their beer mugs to the music at timed. Amazing place. I'm glad I called ahead to make a reservation because the place was packed. There was live music which wasn't very loud or obnoxious. The service was a little slow but considering that all of the tables were occupied and they don't have much staff, they managed well. The food was great- the schnitzel was thin and crispy and the red cabbage and spatzle were flavourful. I'm just kicking myself that after living in North van for over 2 years this is this was the first time we visited.
