When in London, you can find an Indian restaurant to visit and try. There are many, especially with the history of the two countries. And for dinner there are some places in each area to try. But this time on the visit we wanted to try a place that we knew of when we first tried to have dinner there over two years ago but could not get in. It was packed. The line was long and you had to wait. We could not wait that long since we had an event that night. Yet, this time we were prepared and we went. Welcome to DISHOOM. It is the style of Mumbai, but the history of Bombay. And it is based here in Covent Garden area in London. Which, in any way you think about this, it is exceptional. Within a f...

A friend who lives in London brought us here once and we liked it so much that we went back three days later. The food is fabulous, the atmosphere is friendly and fun, and the prices are reasonable. Be forewarned that the line can be long if you don't have a reservation; the first time we went with a reservation and the second time we went on a weekday at about 3:45 and walked right in but both times there were lines out the door when we left. Everything we ordered was really, really good but the bhel was our favorite.

The second best place to have Indian food after India, is London! We prioritized our meals to enjoy Indian food in the area, and Dishoom was on our list. Quite a unique menu! We heard the bacon and naan sandwich was highly recommended and we agreed, it was different and tasty! I also enjoyed my chai in the traditional cup you’ll find at Indian chai shops. We also loved the Ruby Chicken which its deep flavors paired with the cheesy naan. Would love to try more items next time!

I booked Dishoom on the recommendation of friends and was not disappointed at all. While it looks like a big restaurant, looks deceive and the ambience is quiet and the mood perfect. The staff are attentive and offer suggestions and the menu is varied and caters for all tastes and requirements. There are a few in London so make sure you get to one if you can as the food is outstanding and the staff great. Book a table now

My family and I ate at Dishoom on Saturday and we had an amazing experience. The service, the food and the environment were top notch. I have to give a special acknowledgement to the hostess Nikki. We were a large walk-in group and she greeted us with great energy and positivity and set our expectations correctly. Overall a great meal and will definitely be coming back.

We’d gone on our last trip to London 6 years ago and lived the food, so we made it a point to get a reservation on our return trip. The food was somehow even better than last time. Every dish they brought to the table was nothing short of magical. Our waiter incredibly helpful and made this a truly stand out experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!!

yesterday was my third trip to a Dishoom, second ever time for a breakfast and like the other times, there was no hint of disappointment. The food is unique, flavourful and just exiting to eat. But my personal favourite part about visiting is the Chai, absolutely to die for.

As a Indian food lover, this did not really live up to the hype. Food was decent but was on the sweeter side and the spices were more mellow perhaps to cater to local crowd. Still a decent place to visit, but would not queue 45 minutes for it again. Book a table now
