Updated Review of Java Beach After 5 Years I have been a loyal customer of Java Beach for the past seven years and can confidently say that their coffee is exceptional. Additionally, the food at this location is consistently delicious. However, I have noticed significant differences between the two Java Beach locations. The location near the zoo has a distinct style that I personally do not prefer. In contrast, I find the food and coffee at this location to be much more to my liking. That said, I have experienced some issues with the customer service at this location. The staff here can sometimes be quite rude, which is disappointing, especially compared to the consistently friendly service...
Staff were friendly and foot was fantastic. Some grub left his food all over the table whilst we were there. It looked like he was done, he came back 10 minutes later asking where his food was. Staff said they cleared it (rightfully so), the grub got a refund…. Some people suck.
If you come on the weekend, expect to wait in line. Service is slow because the person who takes orders, also wipes the tables down between occupancy. Got to have a little patience, but the hours are short and the food is worth it.
This place is great! They have free wifi and a variety of different foods! It’s a great place to get work done and was clean. My only complaint would be that it’s a little pricey, but that’s okay.

This is a very nice and social place. Most people were sitting outside because the weather was good. Service is outstanding. Probably this is the best coffee shop near the ocean.
After enjoying some time at the beach, why not stop by for a refreshing drink? A butterscotch latte sounds like a delicious choice!
Lovely place, amazing food and great costumer service. Definitely the best place to have breakfast/lunch in San Francisco!
