This is the absolute worst establishment. I called to make a phone order for my lunch. I was told to hold it call back in a min. I decided to hold. While holding i over heard the woman who answered the phone cussing people out in the background. Then I washung up on. When I called back I was told ?how can I help you, we have everything and I?m very busy.? I started to speak myorder. I asked for brisket, beans and macaroni. I was then told macaroni isn?t sold even though it?s on the menu. Then the womantold me to come in or call back because she?s busy. And hung up on me. How rude! I am giving this restaurant a three-star rating for a reason. The ribs, made with fantastic beef and pork, deserve a five-star rating. However, what brings my overall rating down to a three are the potato salad and coleslaw. The potato salad had a reputation for being bad, and the coleslaw was just ordinary salad. Despite this, I do plan to give this place another try. Just be cautious of the sides - stick to the ribs. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
What can I say, this BBQ joint is amazingly delicious. I ordered two family dinners and a pound of Brisket and 1/2 pound of Texas sausage with sides of beans and potato salad both delicious; but the beans wowsers are off the hook delicious. BBQ meats we had pork ribs and beef both tender and perfectly smoked and glazed. I highly recommend Jay Bee's, you will not be disappointed. I need to return and try the pulled pork sandwich.
There is a reason for this three please read. The ribs are fantastic beef and pork they deserve a five, but what makes me give this wonderful place a three is the potato salad and the coleslaw. Purchased hot link dinner. Looking before leaving NO BREAD. when asking man ,he . said they were waiting on BREAD MAN.I ASKED FOR A BUN ATLEAST. man put his bare hand in BREAD bag to hand me the ends of BREAD, IT would of been ok, he was going to hand itto me THROUGH SERVING WINDOW like I was at home. AND CALLED ME DOG. I'm 73 yes old. Friday 10/19/ 2022. I maybe off a day onday of the month.
The service at this restaurant is excellent and the food is always delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tri-tip and pork ribs. The meat was juicy and flavorful, though not quite fall-off-the-bone tender. I ordered the hot sauce and my son requested extra hot, both were incredibly delicious. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for great BBQ in Southern California.
This was my first time ordering food from this restaurant. I ordered a half chicken, half of slab of pork/beef ribs, and a small spaghetti. The pork and beef ribs were dry, tough, flavorless, and was either overcooked, and/or reheated. The meat in thespaghetti was dry and tough also. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food, and I will not be returning.

triff tipp steak was tender and tasty. the BBQ sauce was superb with a small bite to it. great food and great customer service.
Sad to say I bought 3 rib tips dinner and the ribs tips where hard , after 20’yrs of enjoying the food I am not going back
