Made reservations for my mom and I for my birthday and so glad I did. We were a bit late due to finding parking, but they were very nice about it. It was PACKED for dinner. Inside is a bit small and crowded, but not uncomfortable. It can get a bit loud, but never too loud. Looking from other tables, the food looked super good and we were excited for ours. We ordered the house salad and mussels to start, the scallops and bouillabaisse for entrees, and tiramisu for dessert. The mussels were amazing and the salad went well with it. The food is terrible. Salad was the best thing we had, some flavor but very plain for the description. The duck and scallop entrees were bad. The duck was cold served with a tasteless sauce and mediocre mashed sweet potatoes. The scallops were almost raw with bits of sand, served with rice that tasted like greasy plastic. The service was inexperienced, poor quality and awkward. Do not recommend at all. Save the money and go to SF or San Mateo. Way better food for the price. For $50 pp you can get a lot more. Very disappointing as we wanted to like and support local restaurant. Definitely will not go back.
Really nice restaurant. The dishes are like what you’ll find at high end restaurants in the city without the price nor parking problems. Have been a few times and service is always friendly and with a smile. Had the lobster pasta which was creamy and came with loads of lobster chunks. Yum. Also had a daily special, the steak Diane. Came with delicious mash. Sparkling wine selection is nothing to shout about but they pack a few good wines at the bar. If you are looking for a good American/California style meal, this place will not disappoint.
Food was delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Decent options and variety the rack of lamb was perfectly. The pizza was big but lacked good flavor and the veggies were a little under cooked for pizza and the chicken was a little bland. Decent beer and wine options with fairly attentive server. We did go in about 30 after they opened on a Friday so it was a little bit of a slow start. We'll be going back to try some other options.

This place is charmingly unhip. It presents itself as an old school fine dining establishment and on that it delivers. From the elevator music, to the mustard-colored tufted bench seats, everything about this place communicates that it's the food that's interesting. And the food was uniformly excellent with enough of the chef's touch to be creative without getting weird about it. A lovely dining experience.
We waited quite a while to order as they only had two servers but they gave us a salad to share and comped the corkage fee which was not expected but very much appreciated. Food was amazing and the desert was my favorite. Definitely recommend.
A hidden gem! This place is all around amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service makes you feel welcome. It's warm on a cold night. Make sure you make reservations though.
JC is better than michael minna enough said Lobster pasta made in house; fillet , and the salmon is absolutely out of this wod , bread pudding omg everything is good 6 stars JC is the new michael minna.

Great food, very friendly services. I would highly recommend. Especially after a long flight to SFO (or before heading to your flight home. . Wine list is a bit sparse, but the food is very good.
Amazing brunch! We celebrated our 12th and couldn't have asked for any better. Great food and great service. We will be back for a dinner sometime soon!
