I arrived promptly for a mobile order and found that our 2 cold subs were ready when I arrived. However, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes while they prepared food for other customers who walked in after me. The grill guy seemed frustrated as he started on the 2 hot subs in our order. The kids working at the front were polite and apologized, but they couldn't do anything about the grumpy cook. A tip for future orders: it might be better to wait in line rather than placing an online order, as all orders seem to be made at once. Upon arrival, I noticed another customer already waiting angrily, and it became clear why.
I used to visit this restaurant frequently, usually once a week, and never had any issues. However, last month, I had a terrible experience. Today, the sandwiches made a mess and left me feeling disappointed. I ordered a 42 sub with parmesan bread, not paprika. What did I receive? A sub on white bread with paprika and mushrooms! And to top it off, mayo was all over the outside of the sub, making it messy to eat. I know this place used to be better and has the potential to improve. Sadly, I may have to look for a new sandwich shop. I miss the quality of the subs at Jersey Mike's on Capitol.
The table was not clean, there were only a few chips on the table, the water cups were dirty, and the place was chaotic. The staff were friendly, but the overall environment was not pleasant. I visited on a Sunday at 3:50 PM and was the only customer, aside from occasional orders. The bathrooms were also messy, with no towels in either. Staff were sitting and watching TV shows on their phones.
