I really wouldn’t go again. The food was ok. The ambience was fine. But the service (in an almost empty restaurant) was nonexistent or very slow at best. Staff didn’t come near us and we had to call out to order. Empty entree plates left on table for ages before mains eventually served, and despite trying to order dessert we gave up and called it a night. No attempt to provide bill to table so we got up and paid at door and left. It’s a pity. Good be decent if they bothered.
eating at the juwel is always good. the best curries they will have. the service tonight was a little slow, but that's ok we were not in a certain hurry. I always have a problem, but if takeaways take over the business of customers in the restaurant to operate and it happens so often. the jewel will always be our Indian restaurant in goto.

we returned to this restaurant after we had a great experience 5 years ago. we were not disappointed! we chose the juwel banquet that was delicious. the staff was very helpful and attentive. we will definitely return when we visit the next canberra. Book a table now
The restaurant is situated in Manuka within the shopping area and is very easy to find with plenty of parking nearby. The service was excellent, choice of dishes extensive, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
a wonderful Indian restaurant. the food was great and the staff was friendly and competent. one of the best Indian meals we had and highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good cuisine.
