Visited here on 07/07/19 and ordered the beef laksa and beef rendang. The laksa was tasteless and the meat inedible. The rendang was stone cold, inferior inedible meat and day old rice. We hung around for 15 minutes trying to gain a member of staffs...attention to complain but they deliberately avoided us. We then took our food up to the service hatch and told the chef how awful it was, which she apologised for. If you read this please take note of how poor the food is. It was the excellent trip advisor reviews that drew us here, which are difficult to believe.
I randomly chose this restaurant for a late dinner during Vivid. I arrived shortly before closing time, but they were still welcoming and had time to recommend dishes at the counter. The restaurant has a street-food vibe in a shopping center setting, so it's not fancy. I decided to get stir-fried noodles, which turned out to be a good, but not outstanding, choice. The portion was generous, which was perfect after a long day of walking. Based on other reviews, I probably should have tried the laksa instead.
You have to know the place or you might miss it ; it's upstairs on some kind of mall/office building/food court environment. We ended up there one evening looking for something different for our European stomachs .... and were deligthed. Fast service, very good portions,...fairly priced. The place looks like it's known from locals, which is always good. If ever back in Sydney, will come again!
Right across from Circular Quay, this restaurant services authentic Singaporean/Malaysian cuisine. It was so good I went twice both times for the Char Kway Teow $15 (work fried flat noodles) with beef, and a Teh Tarik (milk tea).

I enjoyed the delicious Malaysian cuisine at this restaurant, particularly the stuffed chicken wings which were delightful and original. They also serve beer. The restaurant is conveniently located across from Circular Quay.
The combination Laksa was sensational. My wife is obsessed with Laksa and she reckoned it was the best ever. I don't normally rate Laksa but wow it was amazing. I would definitely come back again next time we're in Sydney.
Running late for the Opera House I was in and out in under 30 minutes and had the seafood laksa. Could have done with more seafood but overall satisfied with the experience.
Although the flavors were present, it was evident that the Beef Rendang was still in the process of being reheated with various patches of colder gravy and meat.

Fast and friendly service with an excellent authentic laksa, nice and cheap, clean and yum.. definitely recommend for aa cheap eats venue in the city.
Good Malaysian food, the stuffed chicken wings were delightful. Tasty and original. Beer is served. Right across from Circular Quay.
