I got the shrimp tempura udon, through grubhub, and it was bad. For some reason it tasted like I was eating soap. There's little to no garnish, the broth has no taste and isn't complimentary to the shrimp tempura. I remade the broth over the stove and added Hondashi, fish flakes, an egg, and green onion. Looking at the dish, it doesn't seem like they care.
Tried different maki rolls and ramen here, they were all delicious! The lunch special for maki rolls were good value. I would definitely dine here again, was surprised to see it so quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Very friendly and helpful staff too.
My wife ordered takeout from JJ Bistro, and unfortunately, the food tasted and smelled off, like it had been sitting around for a few days. I’d prefer to drive a bit further to downtown Wheaton or Army Trail Rd for our usual Thai food instead.
Takeout took over an hour for one entree and a soda. I could sit down at a restaurant, order an app, order an entree, eat the entree, get dessert, and leave in the time it takes them to make food Book a table now
I arrived there today, June 22, 2022, only to find a sign stating that they are closed for family reasons. It's disappointing, as I was really looking forward to trying their food.
