The street/road which takes you to this place is very narrow and it is almost impossible to drive here without stress : Location of the huge cottage style place is nice with a great view and friendly service.... so why the poor rating?! Switzerland is known to be very tidy and clean.... well not here : Food was below expectations after reading reviews on TA! Won't be back :
On the week end you can't drive on the narrow road, but during the week it is possible. The farmer and his daughter have a small but interesting list to eat and drink. The view is spectacular. Fun outside and inside too.
Nice view on the smaller part of Lake Constance called Gnadensee. A little walk will lead you from Steckborn to this idyllic place. Locals know the place for small but good dishes. Service is family owned alike.
