Great service. Amazing food. And you go with a happy stomach! If you plan to go with a big party, you need to understand that there is little space in the little diner. Many people go there that the world works in their favor, but it is not a restaurant that can do the good old movement some tables around the thing. This diner is not a social bar. You go there to eat an amazing breakfast or have a quick lunch and go without breaking the bank or need another meal until 8:00.
Travel back in time to the 1950's and have yourself some comfort food! Soups of the day are always delicious and portions are plentiful. Had a cornbeef Reuben on scrumptious rye toast. The cornbeef came from a nice brisket. Only drawback is that they won't seat you until your whole party arrives, which keeps us from going there for business lunches since my business partners rarely travel together. Also, they're closed on Monday.
For the first time for lunch on a Sunday and the diner was packed (we have the last table), but we were immediately greeted with friendly service and a smile. Many menu options and large portions for good prices. Enjoy the Rind-Gyro and chorizo Hasch, and look forward to going back to try other things.
Could not have been happier with today's meal / service. Welcome the minute we have in the door, fast friendly service and excellent food! This is the only place I ate that I didn't soggy the bottom of Reuben Sandwich. Thank you for a great experience!
