The coffee was smooth, the lemon tarts had a light lemon flavour with a slightly creamy almost custardy texture, very delicious. I also liked the size, not to small and not too big.<br/ <br/ I also grabbed a beef pie and a chicken pie for consumption at a later date! These pies are huge and hearty, they have previously made a great Friday night dinner in my house when I couldn't be bothered cooking. Johnny Dante offers fantastic coffees, possibly the best in Cheltenham. They have a variety of food options including pastries, quiches, sandwiches, smoothies, and cakes. You can choose to dine indoors or sit out front, with multiple seating options available. They even provide dog bowls with water for furry friends. I used to frequent other cafes in Cheltenham for my coffee fix, but Johnny Dante consistently delivers high quality coffees, no matter who is behind the counter. There's nothing quite like enjoying a good coffee and delicious cake outdoors in the fresh air. It's the perfect spot for any time of the day.
I used to frequently visit this restaurant on my way home from university to grab a coffee and some lunch. The older woman who works there is delightful, and the man operating the coffee machine (during my visits) was consistently friendly and made exceptional coffee. I always enjoyed stopping by for a delicious soy latte and a ham, cheese, and tomato croissant.
I went to meet a friend for a catch and he suggested your cafe. Can I say the food was amazing , the staff were friendly and courteous and very attentive. I will definitely be coming back and will be recommending your cafe to all my friends and family. Well done guys.
