We came as part of our Get Me To The Alps Package we’ve been coming all week and it’s clear they’ve been severely understaffed all week, but front of house have been great and it’s not been a major issue. Tonight the operation buckled... the kitchen just couldn’t get the food out quickly enough, after an hour and a half we hadn’t had our mains, the rare steak I ordered was medium well/well done this was the same for 2 others in the party and 1 other who just ate what he had. The waitresses were amazing and had been stitched up an awful experience.
This place was such good find. The food is amazing, best steak my husband has ever had!! The rest of the food was just as good with lovely fresh ingredients and real consideration to the flavors and textures. The service was excellent. I am gluten free and they had no problems guiding me through the menu. The only downside is there isn't a Johns closer to home!!I would recommend reserving in advance as it is quite a small restaurant and they get busy.
8 of us have booked here about a last minute half board with sunweb and were in a nearby hotel. we had breakfast and dinner for 6 days and it was a joy to look forward to ,both at the beginning and end...day. nice friendly staff, a relaxed but gentle atmosphere at dinner and amazing 3 curs meals. We took a slim, so did not know what to expect and felt happy with our choice. highly recommended.
This restaurant is lovely and quaint inside, wonderfully relaxing and hosted by lovely staff. Service was efficient and done with smiles all round. The wine was exceptional for the price and the cote de boeuf very generous. A lovely meal, thank you.

what a brilliant place. adam is a mixologe that makes drinks based on what they want, no lists. and the weeping list is also great. very recommended liv is an incredible host. you have come here
From the wine to the mussels, lamb shank and steak everyone loved this meal and rated it up there with the best they’ve had! This is a must visit in Val Thorens.
First night dinner on a short ski break. Have been here a few times in the past few years and every time have been impressed with this compact restaurant.
We visited for Dinner and I was very impressed by teh food especially the chateaubriand which was a massive portion between 2 and could have fed 4 of us
