This local Korean-Chinese restaurant in Flushing, Queens, has no signage outside, so my friend and I had to refer to the building address to find it. It feels like a spot primarily for locals. We ordered from the lunch menu: Jjam Pong, a spicy noodle soup with seafood and vegetables, and a medium-sized portion of the regular Spicy Ja Jang Myun, which consists of noodles with pork and vegetables in a very spicy black bean sauce. Initially, we were concerned that the portions might not be enough for us, but when our food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous serving sizes—even the medium was quite large. We ended up sharing, and there was still more than enough to go around. Bo...

What an incredible restaurant! The portions are generous, and the service is outstanding. The staff is friendly and made us feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious, and the kimchi cube is a perfect 10/10. The little dessert was delightful—sweet, crunchy, and with tiny bits of corn. The tangsuyuk pork was crispy, and the sauce was rich and thick, complemented by broccoli, peppers, and onions. The seafood mix with vegetables and rice was perfectly cooked and paired well with everything. The raw onions soaked in vinegar and that dark sauce typically served with black bean noodles added a nice touch. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
The restaurant is pretty popular and full during lunch time but the wait isn't too bad. I came here for the jja jang myun. It's my first time having non-instant jja jang myun so I don't know how it comes to other places but it was very good. They serve a small cup of tea and pickled turnips and radishes on the side. The noodles of the jja jang myun was perfect, soft yet slightly chewy. The flavor of the sauce was good too but on the light side. There was plenty of vegetables and onions in the sauce but not much meat. At the end they give two pieces of sweet fried dough. Some of the other noodle dishes other people ordered looked huge!
During my visit, I enjoyed jajangmyeon and fried mandu, both of which were absolutely delightful! The jajangmyeon was served with all the perfect condiments, including black bean paste, onions, and radish kimchi. I was pleased to see a variety of options available alongside the danmuji. I definitely recommend stopping by, whether you're dining solo (if you can handle the generous portions) or with a group! Book a table now
I highly recommend the spicy seafood noodles and the tang soo yuk (sweet and sour pork). The tang soo yuk, in particular, is outstanding. On the other hand, the other half of the noodles is just average.
So I came here for her noodles. It wasn't so expected, but still good. They also served in huge portions. The chicken is okay. I'm just not in this kind of texture. (Peaceful meat is soft in sauce.
Great place for Korean Chinese food, the combo of jjajangmyeon and jjamppong is great on a cold day, when im with friends and feeling ambitious we order additional items like their tangsuyuk
Portions are huge!! In my Jjam Pong, I had more seafood than noodles. They don't do this in Manhattan. We got Kimchi Mandoo and Jajang myeon too, delicious Book a table now
Huge portions! The jajangmyeon was delicious and the staff was kind. Very helpful and attentive. Went with a group of 6 and we had leftovers!
