I have been coming to this pizzeria for a while never have I been told what I was told today! I asked for extra cheese on my pizza was given a dash I asked for more was told “cheese is expensive $6.99 a pound”. The small slice pizza is expensive!!!! To be complaining about damn cheese. So unprofessional! I’m sure the cost of pizza includes extra cheese if not remove it from the damn counter don’t tell customer it’s expensive when your pizza is expensive!!
I’m really saddened to learn that J&S has closed its doors. Their pizza has been the soundtrack to my life, and I have such wonderful memories of enjoying a J&S pie along with a Mountain Dew from the time I was 10 all the way into adulthood. It might sound strange, but the closure of J&S feels somewhat like a loss to me. I’m truly grateful for all the times I got to chat with the staff and savor their delicious pizza. Anyone have their recipe?
No regular pizza slices are served here only Sicilian and they are extremely small. Not worth $3.25 each. There’s also not a sufficient amount of items on price list. The worker behind the counter doesn’t even want to come to the counter to take your order even though there’s plexy glass. These are 2 Sicilian, super thin!!!!
The only time I ever saw my dad cry was when I told him that J's was closed. I flew home for the holidays, and as soon as I drove back from JFK, my first priority was to call and place my order. I wanted to surprise my parents with the pizza that shaped my childhood. The community will never be the same! Book a table now
Very upset that my favorite pizza place closed . If I would of known they were closing I would of order pies to keep in the freezer . If you open another place Joe please reach out to me . My family is very upset you are not around . BEST PIZZA EVER
I'm really saddened to see them close their doors. I'll miss Joey and Gaspo; they were truly genuine individuals. I've been a regular there for over 20 years, and they will definitely be missed.
I haven't visited this place in years, and the food is just as delicious as I remember. I'll definitely be coming back more often because there's nothing quite like authentic Sicilian cuisine!
