Loved the greeting when we arrived and our server was friendly and knowledgeable! However, things started to fall apart as the evening progressed, Drinks and appetizers came out in a timely fashion but the serving of our main courses was not acceptable. Yes, we did order a extra main course item separate from our main order, but that dish came out very quickly and the rest of the orders did not come out. We finally asked our waiter what was going on and he said he'd check and never came back. Now the person who was served was almost done with his meal. We asked another person what was going on and he checked and came back and said because of the extra meal we ordered the kitchen got confused...
The food, the atmosphere, the people—JuneBaby is truly unrivaled. I was fortunate to have a family friend traveling with Chef Carla Hall, which allowed me to visit on the evening she collaborated as a guest chef with Chef Edouardo Jordan. It was an extraordinary experience. Chef Jordan brings the essence of the African diaspora to life through his culinary creations, providing a nearly paradoxical experience that leaves you wanting more. I genuinely LOVED every dish I tried and can’t choose a favorite. I enjoyed a variety of courses, but the highlights were definitely the blackened fish and deviled eggs.
This is the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. As a big fan of this dish for 50+ years, I have had a lot of good fried chicken. I know of what I speak. June Baby fried chicken is crispy, moist and delicious. The quality is consistent. The sides, which vary, have all been fantastic Southern fare. Very authentic. Very flavorful and fresh. The people who work at June Baby were welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in till waving goodbye as we left.
Junebaby has been on our list for years, and we finally had the chance to visit! We ordered the Friday dinner special along with biscuits, and it was fantastic! The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!

The biscuits knocked my socks off, and as someone from the Deep South who struggles to find proper biscuits in the PNW, it was such a delight to find these. Everything was amazing and in generous quantities. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and I hope to come back again soon!
Smoked carrots and collards were delightful and complex. The catfish was amazing, and of course the Saturday BBQ was highly capable. The ice cream and fried peach turnover were not as good as the amazing starters and mains, but the apricot coconut flip was richly flavored and delicious.
Food and service was amazing. We had one vegetarian entree that was a little weird tasting(Grits, tomato sauce, chanterelles, snap peas AND peaches) but everything else was perfection. We will definitely go back!
Excellent service personal and prompt. Food was absolutely delicious. We had the Friday brisket and it was so tender and tasty. The fried oysters were also a treat as was the pimento cheese.

This was my second visit, and I still really enjoy the food. However, the restaurant was a bit colder and louder than during my previous visit.
