I was surprised when I saw J – Ice Stick (Just Ice Stick) available at Fremantle Markets and decided to try the $5 “J” stick. They also sell the “V” stick which goes for $4. The stick was purposely made with hollow centre that can be filled in with soft serve ice-cream. At the moment JustIce Stick offers vanilla or chocolate ice-cream and they plan to add more flavours in the future. This snack called jipangyi gwaja is pretty popular in Korea and sold through many street vendors. I like the combination of sweet puffed corn and the coldness of ice cream.
