My favorite restaurant living in Providence. Every single item I have ever tried has been beautiful. Anytime I visit the city, this is a NUMBER ONE priority!! No gluten? No problem. They have chickpea flat bread, pakora, and papadum- to name a few. I am in love with their idli sambaar but can rarely order this appetizer and still have space for their out of this world vegetable curry dishes. the location is perfect if you are visiting the area too. A kitchen by a JWU alum is always another good reason too see what they're cooking up in my book as well. My memories of Providence would not be the same without this place. So go!
it has not taken over in some years. I wanted to let everyone know that kabob and curry are still strong. in recent years the menu has developed to now have a vegan section with several clearly labeled vegan items. Sunday afternoons have a midday buffet with two spicy trips a price for vegan and a price for carnivores (most buffets on the honor system are vegan, so there is a lot to choose. the personal will visit the table to see if they are vegan, if yes, they will make sure that a vegan brot is made for them!
Being in Rhode Island for 4 Years and been to this food joint almost every week. Never imagined I could get this kind of taste in USA, thanks to the efforts by Mr Sanjiv. Being it Birthday parties, collage reunion or Diwali celebration's....Everything's good about this place....Paneer Tikka Masala, Green Chatni, Samosa's and Of-Course Taj-Mahal. Friendly staff ...nice ambience....soo many memories......Really recommended.... try it.

The Sunday buffet is usually very good and quite cheap. The dishes are very flavorful. They also offer great catering options for events and large groups.
I love the food here but this last time I get all the way home and I never got my stuffed naan which I paid extra for and I didn't even have rice! How do
