Small place with about 6 tables. We went for lunch on Sunday and there was a short wait. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table, water and hot tea are available to serve yourself. WOW! The rolls are HUGE and very reasonably priced for the size. I love the menu with a large variety of rolls, sauces and combinations to try. Most importantly the fish was fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. I definitely recommend the Phoenix roll. This is not close to home for me, but I'll go out of my way to come here for my sushi fix.
Excellent spot for sushi at an affordable price. Many of the specialty rolls are about 12$ which is cheaper compared to many other sushi spots I have visited before. The taste also either is similar or beats the other sushi spots I have been to. I have tried several different rolls (Sumo, Dragon, Kakuna, to name a few) and honestly they are all on par with each other. Pick any specialty roll and you can't go wrong. I'd definitely come back!
The sushi at Kakuna was fresh, generous in portion, and delicious. The restaurant itself is very small and not particularly great to dine at, but the service was pleasant and there?s plenty of parking if you decide to eat there. I probably will do what most people do order out next time I go. You know a place is good when there?s a steady stream of people coming in on a Monday night to pick up orders!
The rolls and teriyaki plate tastes good but average, portion is on the smaller side and price is alright. Only order takeout cos I'm close, the inside is small with only four tables. A very average Japanese Sushi restaurant.

This restaurant is a fantastic discovery! The food is top-notch and they offer some unique sushi rolls. They are already expanding into the next space, so if they continue on this path, we can expect great things from them.
I don't know how this place has a 4.6 rating. However, my experience here was terrible. I felt nauseous after eating, and the atmosphere is small and dirty. I do not recommend coming here.
I am impressed with the quality of the ???? and it's very fresh. Portions are decent. Price is reasonable as well. I have ordered kakuna ????. Next time I would try sashimi.
The Boujee sushi roll at this restaurant is extremely delicious. Despite its humble appearance (a hole in the wall), the quality of the food is exceptional.
